He is is a Professor of Finance at Ekiti State University, Nigeria with over 25 years of teaching and research experience. His research interest is majorly in the area of International Finance and Exchange Rate Determination. He has produced over 70 publications and supervised about 20 doctoral students. He has obtained different research grants including that of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and Council for the Development of Economic and Social Research in Africa (CODESRIA). He has served as Head of Finance Department, Dean of Faculty of Management Sciences and member of University Governing Council in his University. He is married with three children.
